NEW DATES COMING SOON…
The Recovering Yogi- A monthly class and discussion group to support your spiritual wellbeing
Join Tim Kelleher for a monthly series designed to explore yoga practices that support recovery from substance abuse and addictive behaviors. We will explore the links between the modern addiction science, 12-step recovery and yoga philosophy through a led physical practice, guided meditation, and discussion.
Yoga relieves physical and emotional stress, brings awareness into the process of craving and negative self talk, and creates supportive and spiritually focused community. These are vital aspects in the process of healing from addiction and living a free and joyful life. Learn to use yoga practices to bring new light onto the patterns that keep you stuck in the cycle of addiction and prevent you from reaching your full potential.
If you are struggling currently, you are welcome. If you have been in recovery forever and could use a jump start, you are welcome. If you are unsure and called to explore, you are welcome. These classes are suitable for all levels, beginners included. Tim will follow up each session with resources and practices you can use at home.
Tim has been in recovery for 15 years and practicing yoga for just as long. His practice is the spiritual, physical, and emotional touchstone of his recovery. It has provided him with the tools he needed to feel safe in his body, to accept and process the difficulties that come with addiction. Through yoga Tim has found his way to thrive in love and service in this world.
*Each workshop stands alone. You can attend one or all. New dates to be announced soon.
